Univ. guest house: Corrala de Santiago

Corrala_de_SantiagoThe Corrala de Santiago was restored by the Andalusian Regional Government and donated to the University of Granada in 1991. Since then, the guests of the University of Granada have enjoyed this wonderful building as their accommodation.

This is one of the most representative buildings of the popular architecture of Granada from the 16th and 17th centuries – in the flat areas of the city, away from the Muslim typical locations on hills and high areas of land.

The Corrala de Santiago is 15-20 minutes walk from the conference venue (see map below). Rooms are (breakfast not included) 39€/night per single occupancy and 42€/night per double occupancy. All the rooms include private bathroom, A/C and cable-TV.

More information in the History and the services of the guest house can be found in http://corraladesantiago.ugr.es/
