  5. Prerequisites
  6. Any other information deemed relevant

Proposals will be refereed and the result of the selection process will be announced by December 10th, 2016. The lecture notes from the accepted courses should be prepared with a specific LaTeX package produced for this purpose, to be made available to the authors at Colloquium´s page. The camera-ready copy of the lecture notes should be turned in by May 10, 2017, at coloquio@impa.br.

Escuelas CIMPA y RSME

Nanomath 2016

We are pleased to announce the third Nanomath conference, to be held in Toulouse, 27-30 June 2016.

(registration deadline 10 June 2016)

http://nanomath2016.sciencesconf.org/

Nanotechnology is a rapidly growing and exciting research area that is constantly issuing new challenges. Despite extensive research in this field, many breakthroughs and advances are the result of trial and error, since the mathematical framework and appropriate solution techniques which could provide a theoretical understanding often do not exist. Started in 2012 the purpose of the Nanomath conferences is to bring together mathematicians, chemists, physicists and engineers to explore the potential for mathematicians and experimental scientists to gain a better insight into the workings of the nanoworld.

Invited speakers (confirmed):

  • R. Cuerno, Universidad Carlos III, Madrid
  • I. Griffiths, University of Oxford
  • C. Magén, Universidad, Zaragoza

-) méritos de la persona candidata;

-) antigüedad de la defensa de la tesis (no más de cinco años);
