Nemesio García-Carril has been awarded by the American Society for Aesthetics the John Fisher Memorial Prize 2019, for his article «The ontology of musical versions: introducing the hypothesis of nested types».
The prize includes publication in the Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, one of the two most prestigious aesthetic journals in the world, the presentation of the work at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Aesthetics and $ 1000.
