El n\u00famero ha sido coordinado por <a href=\"http:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~edperez\/\">Eduardo P\u00e9rez Navarro<\/a> (FiloLab &#8211; UGR) y <a href=\"http:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~filolab\/wordpress\/quienes-somos-nueva\/investigadores-garantes-91\/maria-jose-frapolli\/\">Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Fr\u00e1polli Sanz<\/a> (FiloLab &#8211; UGR), miembros tambi\u00e9n de la Unidad de Excelencia.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NEGRA\">Resumen:\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"CharOverride-4\">Menas<\/span>\u00a0es un t\u00e9rmino que ha ganado notoriedad en la actual escena pol\u00edtica espa\u00f1ola. Aunque el t\u00e9rmino ten\u00eda un uso neutro en su origen, ya que es un acr\u00f3nimo de \u201cmenores extranjeros no acompa\u00f1ados\u201d, recientemente ha evolucionado a un t\u00e9rmino con claras connotaciones negativas. Este art\u00edculo explora qu\u00e9 tipo de t\u00e9rmino es\u00a0<span class=\"CharOverride-4\">menas<\/span>\u00a0actualmente. Espec\u00edficamente, examinaremos si\u00a0<span class=\"CharOverride-4\">menas<\/span>\u00a0es un\u00a0<span class=\"CURSIVA\">slur<\/span>\u00a0o un TESNI, es decir, un t\u00e9rmino \u00e9tnico\/social neutro usado como insulto. Primero, se\u00f1alamos las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s definitorias de ambos tipos de t\u00e9rminos. Despu\u00e9s, por medio de an\u00e1lisis sobre\u00a0<span class=\"CURSIVA\">corpus<\/span>\u00a0ling\u00fc\u00edsticos, mostramos que\u00a0<span class=\"CharOverride-4\">menas<\/span>\u00a0exhibe las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s definitorias de los TESNI. Acabamos discutiendo la posible evoluci\u00f3n del t\u00e9rmino, se\u00f1alando que, aunque el t\u00e9rmino tiene los rasgos de los TESNI, existen dos posibles escenarios. Por un lado, el t\u00e9rmino puede conservar sus usos neutros y de este modo seguir siendo un TESNI.
