Ha sido financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades,&nbsp; la Agencia Espa\u00f1ola de Investigaci\u00f3n (MICIU\/AEI\/10.13039\/501100011033\/) y \u201cFEDER\/UE\u201d mediante el proyecto PID2022-137711OB-I00 y estar\u00e1 activo durante el periodo 2023-2027<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"567\" height=\"109\" src=\"https:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~hidrogeo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Imagen13.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~hidrogeo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Imagen13.jpg 567w, https:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~hidrogeo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Imagen13-300x58.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resumen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Gesti\u00f3n de Recarga de Acu\u00edferos (MAR) es una de las pocas t\u00e9cnicas que permite aumentar los recursos h\u00eddricos durante los per\u00edodos secos. En un mundo con un clima cambiante, en el que los per\u00edodos secos ser\u00e1n m\u00e1s frecuentes y extremos, proporcionar agua para m\u00faltiples prop\u00f3sitos sociales, econ\u00f3micos y ambientales es una prioridad. Como tal, el agua es uno de los desaf\u00edos sociales comunes a los proyectos nacionales, europeos y mundiales. MAR es un sistema que favorece intencionadamente la infiltraci\u00f3n de agua en los acu\u00edferos para generar la acumulaci\u00f3n de reservas subterr\u00e1neas. El cambio de agua superficial a agua subterr\u00e1nea tiene varias ventajas esenciales: reducci\u00f3n de p\u00e9rdidas por evaporaci\u00f3n, aumento del almacenamiento en sistemas acu\u00edferos y reducci\u00f3n de la necesidad de infraestructuras de alto coste e impacto, como presas. Las propiedades normales del agua subterr\u00e1nea emergen aqu\u00ed como ventajas estrat\u00e9gicas como el flujo lento (permitiendo el almacenamiento durante per\u00edodos secos en una perspectiva a largo plazo), la capacidad de filtrar el agua (mejorando su calidad y reduciendo la presencia de microorganismos) y la ubicuidad del agua en acu\u00edferos (f\u00e1cil acceso al agua donde se necesita mediante perforaci\u00f3n) generando una soluci\u00f3n basada en la naturaleza disponible para hacer frente a los numerosos problemas identificados por los planes estrat\u00e9gicos de investigaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, el MAR no es tan frecuente como se esperar\u00eda debido a la falta de conocimiento detallado de los impactos en los acu\u00edferos, la presencia de regulaciones no adaptadas a los tiempos actuales y la desconfianza social. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo utilizar los avances m\u00e1s recientes en hidrogeolog\u00eda para desarrollar metodolog\u00edas innovadoras y exportables para la aplicaci\u00f3n de la Gesti\u00f3n de Recarga de Acu\u00edferos, una poderosa herramienta para la resiliencia frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico.
