The group of Singularities of the Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Matem\u00e1ticas e de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o, Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (ICMC-USP), in S\u00e3o Carlos, Brazil, welcomes applications for a one-year post-doctoral position in Singularity Theory, with the possibility of an extension for one more year.<\/p>\n
The research activities are related to the FAPESP Thematic Project “New frontiers in the Theory of Singularities” (process 2019\/21181-0), under the coordination of Professor Regilene Delazari dos Santos Oliveira, and will take place at ICMC-USP in S\u00e3o Carlos.
\nThe research will be supervised by Professor Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas and will focus on the investigation of “Lipschitz geometry of singular sets and maps”.<\/p>\n

The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the S\u00e3o Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of BRL 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
