IMAG condena la invasi\u00f3n por parte de Rusia a Ucrania y el sufrimiento que est\u00e1 causando al pueblo ucraniano, a quien deseamos expresar nuestra solidaridad, en especial a la comunidad matem\u00e1tica. De igual forma, IMAG comparte el posicionamiento expresado por el Comit\u00e9 Espa\u00f1ol de Matem\u00e1ticas (CEMaT), de cuyo Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo IMAG forma parte. Por ello, nos remitimos al comunicado de CEMat y a los de la Uni\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica Internacional (IMU), que pueden encontrarse m\u00e1s abajo. En lo que respecta al ICM 2022 y sus actividades correspondientes, la IMU ha decidido que \u00e9ste se desarrolle de forma virtual y que las actividades presenciales asociadas se lleven a cabo fuera de territorio ruso.<\/p>\n

El Comit\u00e9 Espa\u00f1ol de Matem\u00e1ticas (CEMat) ha aprobado enviar a la Uni\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica Internacional (IMU) y hacer p\u00fablico el comunicado que se puede descargar aqu\u00ed (https:\/\/wpd.ugr.es\/~imag\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/Statement_CEMAT.pdf<\/a>), en relaci\u00f3n con la situaci\u00f3n creada por la invasi\u00f3n de Rusia sobre Ucrania y las implicaciones sobre el pr\u00f3ximo ICM y la Asamblea General de IMU.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente, la Uni\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica Internacional hizo p\u00fablicos sendos comunicados sobre el mismo tema, que se reproducen a continuaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n

Comunicado del 26 feb 2022 a las 16:44:<\/p>\n

Dear colleagues,
\nThe IMU Executive Committee met on 24\u201326 February 2022, discussing the tragic events in Ukraine and their consequences for the ICM 2022 and IMU General Assembly.<\/p>\n

Attached you will find an official statement<\/a> detailing the deliberations and decision of the IMU Executive Committee in regard to these matters.<\/p>\n

Comunicado del 27 feb 2022 a las 16:03:<\/p>\n

Dear colleagues,
\nWe have received a few questions regarding our statement communicated to the
\nAdhering Organizations in CL 5\/2022.<\/p>\n

The Executive Committee of the IMU wants to state the following: <\/p>\n

1. The IMU General Assembly and the ICM will be conducted without any financial contribution from the Russian Government.
\n2. No official or representative of the Russian Government will be part of the organization or activities of the ICM.
\n3. All mathematicians are welcome to participate in the activities of the ICM.
\n4. ICM satellite conferences are and have always been outside the purview of the IMU.<\/p>\n
