Flying Horse Editions is a collaborative research studio for visual artists at the University of Central Florida. A non-profit publisher of limited-edition prints, artist books, and art objects by internationally renowned artists, FHE offers unique opportunities for artists, students, and the Central Florida community. Flying Horse Editions offers visiting artists the opportunity to work with FHE technicians to push the boundaries of their work while providing a unique educational experience for UCF students.
Visiting Artist & Master Printer Program
In 2014 FHE established a Visiting Artist & Master Printer program with the goal of creating a world-class program that promotes creative interaction between professional artists and students while also creating sustainability within the printmaking field—by training the next generation of artists and printmakers.
The Visiting Artist & Master Printer Program is made possible by the members of Flying Horse Editions and a grant from the Winifred Clive Johnson Foundation.
Major funding for the Visiting Artist & Master Printer Program was provided by the Judith & David Albertson Endowment in the Arts, Phil Kean & Bradley Grosberg, Jim Blumenfeld & Chris Cooney, The Beck Family Foundation, John & Katie Lehr, Gary Libby, and the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation. Additional funding was provided by Terry Snow, Mark & Caryn Israel, Mark & Laura Cosgrove, Michael & Wendy Henner, Robert Feldman, Gerald & Lourdes O’Connor, Neil & Francine Newberg, Theo Lotz & Catherine Imbesi, Jason Middlebrook, and Chuck Steinmetz & Margie Pabst-Steinmetz
