Professor of the Dept. of Painting at the University of Granada, Spain. PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Granada (2002), member of the research group HUM 611 since 1998. Predoctoral fellowship (1998/2002) Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport M.E.C.D and Postdoctoral (2004/06) Junta de Andalucía and the UGR developed in the Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa in collaboration with the Centro de Estudos Volteface and the Centro de Estudos Cerámicos C.I.E.C.A. She has completed investigation stages in Brazil, Portugal, Greece and Democratic Republic of Congo (project funded by AECID, carried out at the Institute of National Museums of Congo I.M.N.C. in Kinshasa DRC, 2010/2012).
Currently his professional work alternates artistic creation, research and teaching in the Dept. of Painting and curatorial, cultural management and transfer in the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada. Member of the curatorial and management team of the festival of Contemporary Fine Arts of Fine Arts «FACBA», along 7 editions (2015/2022). http://www.facba.info
She is a member of the working group «SOBRE lab» http://www.sobrelab.info where she has been PI of the Project «Contemporary Artistic Production and Editorial Policy. Current alternatives and new publishing models in Andalusia from case studies», funded by the CEIbiotic of the University of Granada and participated in 5 other research projects as a research team. He is a member of «Grupo de Fe» https://trn-lab.info/grupo-de-fe/ a musical production project, linked to the cultural platform TRN-Laboratorio artístico. As an active artist she develops creative projects for which she has received several awards and made numerous national and international exhibitions.
