We are happy to announce that the\u00a0third\u00a0SEJyD<\/strong>\u00a0meeting will take place on\u00a0November 16, 2021<\/strong>. The event will be held at the Faculty of Psychology of the\u00a0Autonomous University of Madrid<\/strong>. We are working under the assumption that it will be possible to hold this meeting physically at UAM. But we are also making all arrangements so that it can be quickly converted to an online meeting, if necessary.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
\"\"We are also glad to announce that this year’s SEPEX conference will be given by\u00a0Helena Matute<\/strong>, from the University of Deusto. As many of you know, Helena Matute is a world-leading expert in the study of causal illusions and human contingency learning. She is also well-known for her many contributions to the dissemination of psychological research on social media and popular science events. We are\u00a0extremely happy to have her onboard for this event. Of note, Helena Matute will also participate\u00a0in the\u00a0UNED Talks<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that will take place on the preceding day, also in Madrid. Those of you who can afford attending both events in tandem will have an excellent opportunity to listen to her in the company of\u00a0outstanding speakers like Fernando Blanco, Roberto Colom, Maria Xes\u00fas Frox\u00e1n, \u00c1ngel Fern\u00e1ndez, and Inmaculada S\u00e1nchez Queija.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
As in previous years, researchers can participate in SEJyD\u00a02021 with oral communications and poster presentations.\u00a0Poster presentations<\/strong>\u00a0are open to anybody (including members and non-members of the SEJyD) with an interest in sharing their work on the study of judgement and decision-making. For\u00a0oral communications<\/strong>, the organizing committee of the SEJyD will contact the research teams directly and invite them to participate with a 15-min oral communication.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
Abstracts<\/strong>\u00a0for oral communications and poster presentations should be sent by email to sejyd.meetings@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0between April 12 and May 21<\/strong>. In your proposal, please state (a) the\u00a0format<\/strong>\u00a0of the presentation (oral communication or poster), (b) the\u00a0title<\/strong>\u00a0of your work, (c) the names and family names of all the\u00a0authors<\/strong>, (d) the\u00a0affiliation<\/strong>\u00a0of each author, and (e) an\u00a0abstract of up to 250 words<\/strong>. We will email detailed\u00a0guidelines for the preparation of the oral communications and posters to all registered participants in a few weeks.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
Both attendance and active participation in the meeting will be free of charge. However, for organization purposes,\u00a0all attendants\u00a0must register<\/strong>\u00a0for this event filling in\u00a0this form<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0May 21<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
