We attended the XIX National Congress of Audiology, organised by the Spanish Association of Audiology (AEDA), which took place in Madrid (Spain) from the 15th to the 17th of June, 2023.
The conference included a Research Section about electrophysiology, in which we presented an overview of a research project where we are investigating the sensitivity of new biomarkers to early signs of hearing loss (E-HHL-D: Early Hidden Hearing Loss Detection). In this talk, we presented the fundamentals of a flexible recording system and advanced signal processing methods based on ‘deconvolution‘ and ‘latency-dependent filtering and downsampling‘ that enable the design of flexible experiments.
