II INTERNATIONAL ECALFOR CONGRESS

Presentation

The European project ECALFOR, «Evaluation of teacher training in Latin America and the Caribbean. Quality assurance of education degrees», pursues objectives consistent with the European Higher Education Area in terms of the structure and functioning of university education and the diversity and autonomy of Higher Education Institutions. In these, quality assurance is determined by the protocols and instruments used by each institution in the evaluation of indicators and results of the quality of university education. ECALFOR generalizes the European experience accumulated in mechanisms and procedures of quality assurance to be transferred, adapted and contextualized to the countries of the project partners in Latin America and the Caribbean, from a collaborative, horizontal and transnational work.

The II ECALFOR International Congress on «TEACHER TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL QUALITY AND SOCIAL COLLECTIVES IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS» is a meeting place for reflection and scientific approach to the most worrying issues of our times in order to offer perspectives for the future. It is a forum where we all have the opportunity to present our reflections, our contributions from research and where we can share with other colleagues and friends our knowledge and scientific conclusions, enriching ourselves and enriching others and providing solutions to our society.

The II International Congress ECALFOR offers a place where other researchers from several universities bring us the work done, the new lines of research, the illusion, the effort and a lot of enthusiasm, promoting the approach and the relationship between different professors from European and Brazilian universities and from a high number of other institutions of higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as between several members of international universities.
