In that wonderful city I lived until I was twenty years old, doing and undoing and, among other things, mixing high school with a diploma in electronic music. In September of two thousand six I arrived to Spain. I studied a degree in Philosophy at the University of Granada. In this same university I completed a master’s degree in Contemporary Philosophy and later, under the guidance of Pedro Osakar, a PhD in History and the Arts. For the last ten years I have focused on exploring one of my passions: the graphic arts and their connections with social movements. Behind this interest has always been the world of printmaking, workshops and Mexican printmaking. A few years ago I started the project of Gráficas la Redonda, the graphic arm of the now defunct social center La Redonda in Granada. Together with Pedro Osakar I participated in the Propaganda Project, a poster and printing project, for which we manufactured a collection of movable type, a composing machine and even rollers. I am currently in charge of the engraving and serigraphy workshop at the Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad, in Sierra Elvira, and I am also trying to work on a project that mixes the graphic world, sound and literature.

En esa maravillosa ciudad viví hasta los veinte años, haciendo y deshaciendo y, entre otras cosas, mezclando el bachillerato con un diplomado en música electrónica. En septiembre de dos mil seis llegué a España. Estudié la licenciatura en Filosofía por la Universidad de Granada. En esta misma universidad hice el máster en Filosofía Contemporánea y después, bajo la dirección de Pedro Osakar, el doctorado en Historia y Artes. Desde hace diez años me he enfocado en explorar una de mis pasiones: las artes gráficas y sus vínculos con los movimientos sociales. Detrás de esta inquietud siempre ha estado el mundo del grabado, de los talleres y de la estampa mexicana. Hace unos años comencé el proyecto de Gráficas la Redonda, el brazo gráfico del hoy desaparecido centro social La Redonda de Granada. Junto a Pedro Osakar he participado en el Proyecto Propaganda, un proyecto de cartelería y estampación, para el cual fabricamos una colección de tipos móviles, un componedor e incluso rodillos. Actualmente estoy encargado del taller de grabado y serigrafía de la Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad, en Sierra Elvira y, también, intento trabajar en un proyecto que mezcle el mundo gráfico, el ámbito sonoro y la literatura.
