The summer school Topics in Complex Dynamics 2025: Connections to Geometry and Analysis will take place from June 2nd to June 6th, 2025. The school will take place at Universitat de Barcelona and is organized by the Holomorphic Dynamics group (HoloDyn). The main goal of the school is to explore the numerous connections between complex dynamics and the areas of geometry and analysis. The school will consist of mini-courses and talks by invited senior researchers, as well as short talks by the young participants. The mini-courses are intended for graduate students or recent PhDs. The afternoons will be reserved for student talks, where they may present their work, either completed or in progress. We are pleased to announce that the mini-courses will be given by: * Sarah Koch (University of Michigan, USA): On postcritically finite rational maps: connections to geometry and Thurston theory * Lasse Rempe (University of Manchester, UK): The Escaping Set * Mitsuhiro Shishikura (Kyoto University, Japan): Parabolic Implosion We expect partial funding from the Faculty of Mathematics of UB, the Institut de Matemàtiques of UB, and the Amidex Foundation of Aix-Marseille University (Grant AMX-22-IN1-50).
