The course goal is to introduce the students to very powerful data visualization techniques to investigate data. Visualization and exploration are fundamental capabilities for any experimental researcher, who needs to make the most of data coming from an experimental design (e.g., in chemistry, ecology, sociology, economics, clinical sciences, etc.), but also in the data science curriculum, where often visualization techniques are forgotten.
