I participate with some members of the Animal ECOurban team in an outreach activity for high school students. The activity consists in a walk in the nearby university green area (called “paseíllos) talking to the teenagers about urban biodiversity and its importance for people. We present them seven sheets, each of them explaining different aspects of urban ecology with the help of several QR codes:

  • What is urban biodiversity?
  • Bird diversity
  • Insect diversity
  • Cats as predators
  • Invasive species
  • Human-nature interactions
  • Pollution

These sheets are available in the outreach section of this website.
