Benjamin of Tudela

(c. 1165)

Born in Tudela (Navarre-Spain) 1130? –1173). A paradigmatic author whose travels took place between 1165 and 1173 and bore fruit in his Sefer masa‘ot. He visited Europe, Asia and Africa.
