The I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON MAGIC AND THOUGHT
WILL TAKE PLACE NOVEMBER 27-29 (Lunes-Miércoles) 2023

All presentations will take place November 27-29 in the University of Granada; there will be an opening reception November 27 evening, and an excursion to Alhambra on November 28 night. The Symposium will close 29 evening with a celebratory banquet at a restaurant in the picturesque area of Granada for a separate fee.

The official languages of the symposium are Spanish and English. Presentations should last about twenty minutes, to be followed by 5 minutes of discussion.

VENUE

The I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON MAGIC AND THOUGHT will be hosted by University of Granada. Sessions will be held in the Palace of Columns, venue of Faculty of Translation an Interpretation located at the center of Granada.

CALL FOR PAPERS / SCHEDULE

Proposals for papers on one of the Congress themes will be accepted until September 15, 2023. The Program Committee will review the submissions, and decisions will be announced on the Congress website. The program will be announced on October 1, 2023.

INSCRIPTION/ PARTICIPATION FEE

The participation fee will be 100 € regular participants; the reduced fee for Postgraduate (master’s or Doctorate) will be 45 €; graduate students 25€ (only assistance).

CULTURAL PROGARAM

The organizing committee is planning a cultural program which will include a night visit to Alhambra. Details will be announced on November 1, 2023.

HOTELS AND MEALS

The Organization Commettee will provide information about reservation service for hotels located near the Congress venue at reasonable prices ranging from 55 € to 100 € per person, a night. Details will be announced on September 1, 2023.
Coffee and pastry will be served each morning at the venue. There are many places for lunch located near the symposium venue.
