Lucía DeSoto

Lucía DeSoto, PhD, is Marie Skłodowska-Curie PostDoctoral Fellow (IF) at Department of Functional and Evolutionary Ecology of the Experimental Station of Arid Zones (EEZA), Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

She is a plant ecologist mainly interested in the study of the vegetative growth under different perspectives, for instance, reproductive costs, climate conditions, population dynamics and other ecological pressures that drive plant growth. This holistic approach has let her work in different research fields, such as dendrochronology, wood anatomy or spatial and image analyses.
