One postdoctoral appointment is offered for a researcher in mathematics with an excellent curriculum vitae having completed his/her PhD within the last 5 years, or completing it by the end of 2015. The candidate will join the team funded by the ERC Starting Grant project «Geometric problems in PDEs with applications to fluid mechanics” that is led by Dr. Alberto Enciso at the ICMAT (Institute for Mathematical Sciences) in Madrid, Spain.
The contract will have a duration of 3 years and is expected to start between September 2015 and January 2016, although there is some flexibility in the dates. The gross amount is around 39000 euros per year. There are no teaching duties.
Aspiring candidates should be strongly motivated and have a solid background in differential equations. Researchers interested in partial differential equations, geometric analysis, fluid mechanics or related fields are encouraged to apply.
