Workshop Functional data analysis and applications in digital and augmented humanities (28-30 UGhent)

IPEM – Musicology at Ghent University is delighted to announce an upcoming course on data analysis, accompanied by a series of talks presented by experts in the field. These sessions will primarily delve into the analysis of data represented in the form of curves, with applications spanning various domains within the humanities. This specific branch of statistics, known as Functional Data Analysis (FDA) or Object-Oriented Data Analysis, is the focal point of these discussions.

We warmly welcome students, whether from Belgium or abroad, who have an interest in this subject.

Please note that the talks are also tailored for a specialized audience, providing valuable insights into current FDA methodologies. All presentations will be streamed online via Zoom. See details below.
