Multivariate Splines for Inferential Data Science
May 10, 2026 to May 16, 2026 | IMAG, Granada
Workshop Description
The Institute of Mathematics at the University of Granada will host the "Multivariate Splines for Inferential Data Science" workshop at the University of Granada (IMAG) in Spain, from May 10 - 16, 2026.
Participants will check in at the hotel starting on the evening of the Sunday prior to the start of the workshop, and check out before noon of the following Saturday.
The Institute of Mathematics of the University of Granada (IMAG), in the framework of its collaboration with the Banff International Research Station (BIRS) for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery, will host the ‘Multivariate Splines for Inferential Data Science’ workshop of the scientific programme of the Canadian institution.
This workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration to explore how multivariate splines can revolutionize multivariate statistical inference. During the event, participants will share insights and develop new strategies to tackle complex data problems, combining the flexibility of splines with advanced statistical methods.
The workshop will feature a series of talks and hands-on sessions led by experts from both disciplines. This event represents a unique opportunity for researchers from diverse fields to collaborate and advance the use of multivariate splines, with the goal of enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of statistical inference techniques.
