Título: Recent results on Surface Quasi-geostrophic fronts
Abstract: The Surface Quasi-Geostrophic (SQG) equation models the dynamics of atmospheric and oceanic flows. An important type of solutions for this system are patches, modeling highly studied sharp temperature fronts. Boundedness of curvature plays an important role theoretically and numerically in the finite time singularity formation of the fronts. In this talk we discuss how to construct SQG sharp temperature fronts with unbounded curvature, establishing local well-posedness in low Sobolev regularity, $H^{2+s}$ for arbitrarily small $s>0$.
