“Un Cerebro, Dos Idiomas: Mitos y Realidades” // “One Brain, Two Languages: Myth versus Truth”
Investigadoras e investigadores de la Universidad de Granada, dentro del proyecto financiado por el FECYT y el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (FCT-19-1535¿Cómo conviven dos idiomas en el cerebro? Transfiriendo la investigación desde el laboratorio a la sociedad) han creado este seminario online para exponer el efecto de los idiomas en nuestra sociedad desde la perspectiva de la psicología cognitiva y la neurociencia. El webminario está especialmente destinado a familias cuyos hijos/as están siendo educados en varios idiomas, bien en la escuela o en casa, con el fin de abordar desde una perspectiva científica los mitos y las realidades que engloban el conocimiento de idiomas.
Investigators at the University of Granada are planning an online informational seminar to bring to light the effect of languages in our society from the perspective of cognitive psychology and neuroscience. This activity falls below a project financed by the Spanish Foundation of Science and Technology (FECYT) and the Ministry of Science and Innovation (FCT-19-1535 How do languages co-exist in the brain? Relaying evidence from the laboratory to our society). The webinar is specifically designed for families who have children who are receiving a bilingual education (either at home or at school). We want to address the myths and truths about language learning, from a scientific perspective.
