The article addresses the phenomenon of post-truth: how should be the spreading of hoaxes and fake news in social networks be interpreted? Is this new or is it an old practice adapted to new ways of communication? According to Juan A. Nicolás: “lies are no longer hidden or publicly minimized, but there is an increasing open defence of distorted information”.
