José Medina, Walter Dill Scott Professor of Philosophy at Northwestern University (US) is the author of The Epistemology of Resistance: Gender and Racial Oppression, Epistemic Injustice, and Resistant Imaginations (Oxford University Press; recipient of the 2013 North-American Society for Social Philosophy Book Award). He will be the keynote speaker of the conference organised by the Doctoral Programme on Philosophy.
